Doc Appt Update & Ultrasound Scheduled

So this morning was my doctor's appointment. As usual, everything was fine. He asked if I had questions, checked the heartbeat, gave me the slip to schedule my ultrasound and that was about it! The heartbeat was in the high 130's - slightly lower than it was last time. Still well within the range of normal, obviously, but if you follow the wives' tale about the heartbeat being a gender indicator, boys tend to have a lower heartbeat than girls. Tessa's was always in the 140's which is in the middle and my mom says that's where all us girls were. Britt said at her last appointment the heartbeat was relatively high (in the 150's or 160's, not sure exactly), which would indicate she's having a girl if you follow the guideline, but as we know by her ultrasound, her baby is a boy. The doctor also said the baby's right where it should be, right at my belly button. That was it! I scheduled my ultrasound too and it is Friday the 19th at 11:00am, so hopefully we'll know soon enough! Be looking for an update on or after the 19th!
