Ok. So for those of you who don't know, we have a dog named Charlie, or Mr. Charlie as we sometimes call him. He's an 85lb+ mutt who's generally a pretty good dog. He's your typical dog, usually pretty stupid, but does have occasional moments of intelligence. For example, we can tell him to go to his room, and he does. He's been wonderful so far with Tessa. He's not as attentive as I thought he would be, though. He usually just ignores her. However, the other day, Chuck was home with Tessa and had her in her chair in the living room while he was fixing her a bottle. We don't worry about her being unattended around Charlie for short periods of time, so he was in there with her. Apperantly she was crying cause she was hungry. As Chuck's fixing her bottle, he hears her little dog that talks and sings. He know's she doesn't have it, so he figures Charlie must have stepped on it or something, but he goes in to see what's going on, just in case. He walks in to the living room to find the dog IN TESSA's LAP! The same dog who was on the floor when he left the room. Obviously Charlie was concerned for her crying and thought that if she had her dog she would feel better. How cute is that? Granted, we don't want him touching her toys, but how can you get mad at him for trying to help? Just wish I could have been there to see it.
On other news, she appears to be teething, as she's been fussy the past coule days. Either that or the fussiness was due to the HUGE poop Chuck just informed me that she had. It has been days since she pooped so she was clearly stopped up. Hopefully she feels better now.

He is being a great "big brother". What a wonderful story. Make sure and put it in Tessa's baby book.
Love you guys,
Mom
