I got a call from one of the other doctor's in the practice today. He basically said the same things my doctor said about the heart, but he'd still like me to go in and get another ultrasound so we can make sure everything's ok with the heart. And assuming the baby has all her chambers, there could still be something else wrong with the heart that the ultrasound might show, and if there needs to be special doctors at the delivery, we want to be prepared. So, here in the next few weeks I'll go back and get another one. Hopefully we'll get more pics, and maybe a better view of the genitals, just to make sure little Tessa is indeed a she :) Thanks for all the kinds words everyone.

Hopefully a second ultra sound will give the doctor a full view of the heart and you will get the answers and peace of mind you are looking for. I am sure everything will be fine. Now as far as the 3 lines go......Wouldn't it be something if the lines looked different this time? Maybe the baby wants to keep you guessing.

Ditto on the above. I have a friend who is expecting a granddaughter that is due Oct. 5. Her ultrasound at 20 weeks was the same. They didn't see what they wanted of the heart and she has to have another ultrasound also. Sounds as if the babies are wiggling around it's hard to get a good pic. Technology has advanced much in twenty odd years.
