Dr. Appt. Update

I had another doctor's appointment today and it went very well, as usual. I met the last of the 4 doctors in the group, who I liked, so I think if I at least get him or my regular doctor I'll be more comfortable in labor & delivery. Heartbeat's still good. He didn't measure my abdomen but did feel around and could tell her head was already down a good ways. He did an internal exam then which confirmed her head was definitely down, and I'm pretty sure he said 'half-way' or something to that effect, which is very good, especially for a first timer. The sooner and farther she moves down, the better for delivery and that's what we want! She's being such a good baby for mommy. I'm a 'good cm' dilated, which means nothing more than my cervix is 1 cm dilated. I could go into labor tonight or a month from now. I could be at 3 cm and still not go into labor for a while, but I'm not, but we do know that at least my body is working properly. I go back again next Thursday so we'll see how much progress has been made by then, if any. And if I'm still 1 cm dilated, again, it means NOTHING! People dilate at their own pace and it can progress as regular or irregular as it wants to be. Anyway, so that's the scoop. Have a great weekend everyone!
