Just as I figured, no real progress. The doc said I may be a little more dilated than last time, but it obviously wasn't enough to move me from a 1 to a 2. He did say she's moved down farther, which is good. I guess I had figured she wouldn't move down more until labor, but I don't think she moved until Tues, so maybe her moving down will speed things up. Otherwise, we wait, and I have my next appt same time, same place, same doc next week, assuming I make it, which at this rate I will. I just read that the average 'first-timer' goes 41 weeks 1 day, which would put me at Nov 2 - no thank you! Though she could easily be a Halloween baby if I go late, but hopefully she'll decide to come soon.
Chuck was a darling husband last night and brought home Chinese food for dinner, which those of you who know us well know he does not eat Chinese food, but he knows I like it, so he got some - very sweet. We had a common lucky number on our fortune cookies and it was 20, so maybe she'll come on Monday... he also bought some Cold Stone too, which was of course yummy.
So again, we are waiting. Some people say pineapple can help induce labor, which I hadn't heard before, but I just so happened to break open a can this week and have been eating some and there was some in my Chinese food last night as well. Maybe it'll work, but I doubt it. Guess I'll just keep walking and hope something works before I go crazy!!!

Just keep doing what you are doing since it is obviously working to at least move her down. She will come when you least expect it. But hopefully for birthstone sake, she makes her birthday in Oct. But, my November baby was wonderful and beautiful so that month isn't too bad. :)

You're making progress, you just can't see it. She will be here in her own sweet time. Maybe she will be a Sweetest day baby, or an anniversary baby, or a Halloween baby. Crazy is not a good place to go, been there, done that. We have a busy weekend in store, so she may come then, it would figure.
Hang in there, (not you Tessa), just Mommy and Daddy.
Wish I could tell you to have it on the 21st and you would! I wouldn't be so sad on that day, Marc's birthday. Your on your last leg so hang in there and enjoy the pampering. Hats off to Chuck for taking extra special care of you!
