Today we are celebrating Tessa's Un-Birthday, since she WILL NOT be born today... much to the dismay of some of our friends. Not only will she not be born today, she will wait at least until after Rob & Aubrey's wedding too - she's a good girl like that. Chuck's cousin just had her baby (congrats Missy!) and finally, someone whose baby was born on their due date! She's petite like me also, but she did have a smaller baby (under 7 lbs). Best of all, she was only in labor for a half hour! Not that I'm expecting such good fortune, I just want the strength, willpower, and stamina to get through labor as safely and naturally as possible. So, all this being said, don't get too excited yet anyone... I think we'll make it at least to October...

Yay for no early babies! Maybe she will be just like her mother- highly organized with an intricate plan of being ON TIME! :)

This is hilarious. Daddy says he told Tessa she must stay in till at least Monday, Mommy celebrates the un-birthday. These early babies have really spooked them. Tessa will come when she's ready and the rest of us will have to get that way. That's the wonder of it all.
My niece had her baby the day of her shower, had to leave the guests. So at least that is out of the way and the nursery is ready.
